Growing up in New York, I was immersed in the exciting world of hair and fashion from an early age, thanks to my mother, a talented salon owner and platform artist with Paul Mitchell. My mother's influence inspired Me to master the intricacies of styling and the business side of the industry, igniting my dream of becoming an exceptional stylist and businesswoman. In 2015, I made the bold decision to relocate to Lexington, SC, ready to restart her career in a new and vibrant environment. I faced this challenge head-on, knowing that nothing in life comes easy Just as she was gearing up for the grand opening of Moss & Moon, the world faced unprecedented Covid-19 shutdown. However, Marissa's unwavering determination never wavered, and she dedicated her time to ensuring that the salon would be a perfect haven for clients, focusing on creating a space where everyone would feel completely comfortable and welcomed.
